Masaki Ishibashi is co-founder and CEO of TOY EIGHT, an inclusive education company building AI developmental screening for children aged three to five. Tens of thousands of screenings have been completed across Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, validated with Malaysia's Ministry of Health, published in three peer-reviewed journals, and deployed with the state governments of Sarawak and Selangor. He co-authored ERIA's 2025 report on advancing inclusive education in ASEAN, arguing that early childhood screening is public infrastructure rather than a product. TOY EIGHT won the AI education and skills session at the UN ITU AI for Good Innovation Factory 2026, and was the only Japanese company selected for India's AI Impact Summit 2026 casebook on AI in education. In October 2026 he joined the CEO Meeting at the STS forum in Kyoto, one of 36 chief executives from 13 countries.
